Hand crafted leather sewn around a traditional gourd. This is one of the most traditional mates in Uruguay. The posamate (leather holster) is stained to match each mate, although each is unique. Shades range from a cedar brown to a dark brown. The rim is made of a stainless steel like Alpaca alloy to ensure that no metalic flavor ever taints the mate infusion.
